Okay, I think the truest form of any PSA were the ones in the eighties and early nineties when the kid was doing something and was caught by his parents. When asked why the kid replied that he had learned it from his parents. For a while it was a reflective ad and I think that's why we don't see it anymore. I know a couple of people that do stuff simply because their folks did it. It IS the parents to a degree. Yes, some of it can be put on friends, society but we must learn that what we are exposed to at home is what is most likely to be considered "normal". What if a kid is exposed to nudity on his or her parent's part in a non-sexual way? Of course what this kid sees that has no obvious negative will be more normal than if a girl was wearing a revealing top and was promptly punished.

I was exposed to swearing, smoking, a little drinking, never heavily, and speaking one's mind. That and a bit of twisted humor. I am now a smoking, swearing, loud mouthed, occassional drinker.

We learn things from home so if you have a want to blame someone else, blame your home.
